Sales Consultant

Stan’s - LPS Midwest is hiring B2B sales consultants for our Rockford and Boone County Expansion!  Our sales consultants are excited by the idea of getting out from behind a desk and experiencing the world of business first hand. We are looking for entrepreneurial-minded candidates who take pride in providing measureable results of their work through both the savings in their clients’ bottom line, and through individual contributions to the team goal. They crave constant learning and development and will be able to manage themselves and their time very effectively.

Our Document Solutions Consultants manage their territory, are responsible for account management, new business development and project coordination. The attitude a candidate possesses is as important as their skill set.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a high level of energy, exude a positive attitude, and will be resourceful, driven and highly dependable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Defend, manage and develop assigned territory
  • Prospect via cold calling, email and phone call for new business development
  • Manage accounts and design appropriate solution based on clients’ needs
  • Detailed project coordination & technology demonstrations
  • Present the Stan’s - LPS Midwest value proposition to decision makers
  • Write proposals and negotiate terms of contracts
  • Measure and report ROI of efforts
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and earn referral business

  • BS/BA degree in business or other related field is preferred


  • Previous business-to-business sales experience preferred
  • Previous experience in the technology field is preferred
